Product Description
The MG700 is a top-hung glass sliding panel system — full-height glass panels suspended from an overhead aluminium track, guided by a bottom rail, and designed to slide and stack in multiple configurations. The system is specified where visual openness, design flexibility and elegant space division are the primary requirements.
The MG700 Float system is specifically designed to accommodate corner office layouts. Panels can turn corners and slide into adjacent walls, creating fully flexible workspace boundaries in any floor plan — including L-shaped and U-shaped configurations. This makes it the preferred choice for open-plan offices, co-working spaces and showrooms.
The MG700 is a design-led system. It does not carry a certified acoustic Rw rating and is not classified as an acoustic partition. For projects requiring acoustic performance alongside glazed aesthetics, the MG500 (Rw up to 43 dB) or MG600 (Rw 45 to 50 dB) should be considered. All installations are carried out by ModernGlide's FIS-accredited team with full project management from survey through to commissioning and handover.

Typical Applications
Specifier Guidance
Acoustic Considerations
- MG700 does not carry a certified Rw acoustic rating
- Not suitable where acoustic separation is a specified requirement
- For acoustic glazed partitions, specify MG500 (Rw up to 43 dB)
- For higher acoustic glazed performance, specify MG600 (Rw up to 50 dB)
- Confirm suitability with acoustic consultant
Key Specification Considerations
- Confirm structural ceiling capacity for overhead track fixing
- Coordinate track routing with M&E services and ceiling design
- Specify glass type and thickness to suit opening size and usage
- Confirm hardware finish (SAA or powder coat) against interior scheme
- Allow for bottom rail recess or threshold detail in floor finish
- Manifestation required under Building Regulations Part M in certain locations
- Engage at RIBA Stage 2 or 3 for corner configuration coordination
