Project Overview

A seamless finish — both vertically and functionally. The MG400 showcases what is possible when acoustic performance and architectural elegance are engineered as one.

This installation showcases the MG400 system at its most refined — featuring panels that reach an impressive height of 3,500 mm. These panels are beautifully clad in a classic veneer finish, designed to blend seamlessly into any environment while providing excellent acoustic performance and a touch of high-end style.

The pocket door configuration is the defining detail of this project. Rather than stacking panels in a visible parked position, each panel slides entirely into a concealed wall cavity — completely hidden from view when the space is open. The result is an interior that reads as a single, uninterrupted room until the moment the partition is needed.

When deployed, the MG400 transforms that open space into two acoustically separated zones, with automatic seals engaging at the floor and perimeter gaskets compressing against the frame. The veneer finish continues across both the panels and the surrounding joinery, so the wall appears as a natural continuation of the room architecture rather than an afterthought.

System Highlights

Four Reasons the MG400
Redefines the Pocket Door

01

Invisible When Open

The defining characteristic of the MG400 pocket door configuration: panels slide entirely into a concealed wall cavity, leaving no visible hardware, track or panel face. The opening is completely unobstructed — the wall simply disappears.

02

3,500 mm Panel Height

Reaching an impressive 3,500 mm from floor to ceiling, these panels make a dramatic architectural statement. Full-height panels eliminate the visual interruption of a head rail, creating a seamless transition between spaces.

03

Classic Veneer Finish

Beautifully clad in a real wood veneer, each panel is designed to blend seamlessly with surrounding joinery — cabinetry, panelling and door linings can all be matched for a completely unified interior.

04

Acoustic Separation — Rw up to 43 dB

When deployed, the MG400 delivers meaningful acoustic separation with an Rw rating of up to 43 dB. Automatic drop seals engage at floor level, perimeter gaskets compress against the frame, and the result is genuine acoustic privacy.

Engineering Detail

How the Pocket Door Configuration Works

Unlike conventional sliding wall systems where panels park visibly at the side of an opening, the MG400 pocket door configuration routes each panel into a purpose-built cavity within the adjacent wall construction. When fully retracted, the panel is completely hidden — no face, no edge, no hardware is visible from either side.

The top-hung track runs continuously through the opening and into the pocket cavity, supported at regular centres to carry panel weights of up to 200 kg per leaf. A soft- close mechanism decelerates the panel in the final 150 mm of travel, ensuring silent, controlled operation every time.

  • Panels slide into concealed wall pocket — zero visual footprint when open
  • Top-hung track carries panels up to 200 kg per leaf
  • Soft-close mechanism for silent, controlled operation
  • Automatic drop seals engage at floor level when panel is closed
  • Perimeter gaskets compress against frame for acoustic integrity
  • Veneer finish matched to surrounding joinery for seamless integration

Operation Sequence

A

Open Position

Panels fully retracted into wall pocket. Space is completely open. No visible hardware.

B

In Transit

Panels glide along top-hung track. Soft-close decelerates in final 150 mm.

C

Closed & Sealed

Drop seals engage. Perimeter gaskets compress. Rw up to 43 dB acoustic separation achieved.
