Project title: Abbey Centre
Location: Lodnon
Value: £11,000.00
Client: Abbey Centre
System: MG200 Sliding Folding Partition
Project Description:
We were approached by the Abbey conference and community centre in Westminster to look at the feasibility of removing three existing twenty-year-old concertina systems that no longer worked.
Following two meetings, we proposed our MG200 sliding acoustic door system as the perfect product. As there was not enough structure for a top hung partition the MG200 folding partition was ideal as it is totally floor supported.
Initially we installed three sliding acoustic systems between existing columns to give one large meeting room that can be hired out and divide off from the popular café that this worthwhile charity operates.
We were contacted a few months later to supply two further MG200 sliding acoustic doors from the columns that now means this area can be split into one, two or even three meeting rooms.
The specification for the sliding folding partitions we installed has an acoustic rating of 40dB and all the panels have a dry wipe writable finish which is ideal for presentations. There was an existing timber floor therefore we fitted a specially designed diminishing strip that meant the floor did not need to be cut in to and prevented a trip hazard. As the MG200 folding acoustic partition is supplied as standard with a full height door it means that access into any configuration of rooms is ideal.
Overview:
Our client is happy with the result of this project as they can now facilitate so many more bookings for different size meetings whilst not impacting on the café area they run for the community. We were extremely proud to have been selected to complete this project from the companies who tendered and help a very worthy cause.
