Project title: New York Times
Location: London
Value: £7,500.00
Client: GTA
Project Description:
We engaged on this project with our client an industry leading fit out company to design, supply and install our MG100 movable acoustic wall system. The main issue we had to overcome was the parking position of the system. The operable wall panels needed to be stacked on a curved wall therefore the movable wall was supplied on a single point suspension allowing the stacked panels to sit on the same angle as the exterior wall.
The finish specified for the operable wall panels was a high-quality veneer appearance laminate that matched other areas of this project, the MG100 acoustic panels also have a concealed edge profile that gives a seamless joint between each movable wall panel. The system was supplied with an acoustic rating of 53dB and we installed an acoustic baffle within the 700mm ceiling void to maintain the acoustic integrity of the installation.
Overview:
The finish and performance of the MG100 operable wall is excellent. When we carried out the demonstration of the movable wall to the client, they commented on how good the acoustic performance is and the extra flexibility they now have for varying sized meetings.
